Thunders Love is designed in a small village in North West Spain, where the Atlantic landscape shapes everything: the light, the pace, and the way we understand comfort.
At the mouth of the Lérez river, near a quiet estuary and not far from the Portuguese border, we create socks built around texture, colour, and timeless design.
Thunders Love began with production in the North of Portugal, where we spent years learning from specialised workshops and refining our standards. Ten years later, that journey brought us home. We now produce our socks in our own workshop, in small runs and with careful finishing. This allows us to keep the rhythm of quality exactly where it belongs.
Our Socks
We design socks through colour, structure and feeling. From the very first sketch, we focus on the architecture of each style: how it fits, how it holds, how it moves, and how it lasts.
Our work combines premium yarns with deep technical know-how in knitting methods and construction. We explore different blends, create rich chromatic effects, and refine details that make a difference in everyday wear. From the texture of the ribbing to seamless finishes on selected models, every choice is made with intention.

Materials
We work with wool and cotton, exploring different blends and finishes depending on the season and the feeling we want to create.
From warm winter textures like mohair and wool and cashmere, to breathable cotton styles designed for everyday wear, every material is chosen for comfort, durability, and how it performs over time.
Cotton
For our cotton styles, we use high-quality Egyptian cotton, known for its long fibres and fine yarn. This gives a softer feel, improved resistance, and a denser, more refined fabric.
We also work with recycled cotton sourced in Spain, made from textile offcuts. It allows us to reduce waste and water consumption, while creating colour through the careful selection of fibres, without unnecessary processes.
