Thunders Love Wool Shetland Sand Socks are made with a 100% shetland sand yarn. As we didn't use any elastic fiber in it construction they are ribbed knitted to improve the adjust. Shetland wool is high quality knitting yarn, it comes from the Shetland Sheep, friendly and beautiful sheeps with a soft wool, this yarn usually it used without any dye, but we decided in this case dye it in sand color

About durability — 100% wool socks
These socks are made from 100% natural wool, without any synthetic reinforcement.
Wool is an exceptional fibre: warm, breathable, soft on the skin and naturally insulating. However, because it is a pure natural material, it is also more sensitive to friction than blended fabrics.
In areas of high wear, such as the heel and toe, thinning or wear can appear over time, especially with frequent use. This is a natural characteristic of 100% wool socks and not a manufacturing defect.
If you are looking for maximum durability for everyday or intensive use, we recommend exploring our wool-blend collections, which include a small percentage of reinforcing fibres to improve resistance while maintaining comfort.
For best care, we also recommend gentle washing and avoiding use without shoes or with very rough footwear.
